PURPOSE:To improve a hot offset resistance characteristic and to prevent the degradation in the flowability of a toner by forming the compsn. of an antioxidant and a release agent consisting of a polyolefin resin and specifying the melt viscosity at 160 deg.C and durometer hardness, respectively. CONSTITUTION:This compsn. consists of the antioxidant and the release agent consisting of the polyolefin resin. The melt viscosity thereof at 160 deg.C is specified to <=1,000cps and the durometer hardness is >=30. The antioxidant is then dispersed uniformly together with the release agent having an effect as a pigment dispersant as well into the toner and, therefore, the antioxidant acts effectively to the color fading of the pigment. The amt. of the antioxidant to be added is thus minimized. The compsn. is improved in the hot offset resistance characteristic and the degradation in the flowability of the toner is obviated. |
