<p>This invention relates to a method of electrically controlling a fuel injection control lever of a diesel engine used in a construction machine. When a key switch (5) is turned on to start the engine, an angle Υo of an operating lever (2), which is connected to a control lever (1), at this time, i.e., at a point in time at which the number of revolutions of the engine is 0 rpm is detected by a potentiometer (6). The operating lever (2) is then shifted to a position corresponding to a full speed revolution of the engine, and an angle of the operating lever (2) of Υmax is detected. A control circuit (4) is adapted to store the proportional relation between an actual angle of the lever and the number of revolutions per minute of the engine which are based on these detected values, and receive an operation mode command and instruct position of the operating lever (2) which suits a target number of revolutions per minute of the engine to an actuator (3). Therefore, an optimum number of revolutions per minute of the engine based on the data obtained by correcting each time the errors due to the abrasion and deterioration of the parts and the long-time use of the potentiometer (6) can be obtained.</p> |
