<p>A prosthetic device (10) includes two or more members (114, 120, 180) having alignable bores (132, 139) and smooth sliding surfaces (184, 182) intercepting the respective bore (132, 139) at an angle; a shaft (134) extending through each bore (132, 139) holds the members (114, 120, 180) in assembled relation with the sliding surfaces (182, 184) abutting one another; rotation of the shaft (134) effects relative sliding motion between the members (114, 120, 180) to vary the width dimension of the device (10).</p> |
