The guillotine for piles of sheet materials has a work table above which are a cutter and a press arm. There is a tray (2a) to hold the sheets for trimming (9), and another (2c) to take the trimmed sheets, together with a pusher (5) with teeth. The teeth grip in the groove of the press arm (3). The pusher extends over the whole width of the work table (2), and the side pusher (10) works immediately in front of the foremost position of the pusher (5).
