Sensor film (sheet), sensor element, multiple sensor, layer (laminar) structure, polycrystalline, metal oxide, polymer oxidation, phase-boundary layer, stoichiometry gradient, temperature gradient. A sensitive composite film for making indicators by conversion of different mechanisms of action such as moisture, fill space level, elongation (strain), pressure and movement into analogous electrical signals is produced in a simple manner. An analogue transformation of non-electrical parameters into electrical signals is achieved by utilisation of different effects individually or in combination which effects occur in a functional layer in the boundary region between a polymer pigmented with metal oxide and a modified polycrystalline metal oxide having alterable stoichiometry. The sensitive film of the invention forms a uniform base structure not typical of semiconductors for various sensors, with in each case a primary effect being utilised and it being likewise possible to use utilisable secondary effects for the characteristic voltage (electrical potential).
