The radial fan is used for the circulation of hot gases. It has a ceramic blade (1) which is cooled by holes in a reinforcement member (2), with an insulating layer (3) in between. The blade has a counterweight (4) to compensate for bending moments and the fan wheel is material integral with the drive shaft (5). USE/ADVANATAGE - Radial fan for chemically aggressive and abrasive gases which is composed of fan segments such that damage to one segment does not impair the entire wheel.
