PURPOSE:To prevent the double engagement of a clutch from occurring by installing a pressure detecting device, detecting clutch pressure in each clutch, at every clutch, and comparing a clutch hydraulic pressure command to be inputted into a drive circuit, with output of the pressure detecting device at each clutch, then detecting something wrong in each clutch with this result. CONSTITUTION:At a controller 40, clutch pressure command signals C1-C6 are compared with driving currents I1-I6 of solenoids 21S-26S and output S1-S6 of pressure switches 51-56 respectively, and when the driving current fails to flow and clutch hydraulic pressure is left entered intact, whereas the clutch pressure command signal is outputted, or when it is reversed and so on, the controller detects it as abnormality. And, when trouble is detected, in the case where a vehicle is in a clutch state of making it travelable, the vehicle is made into a state of making the irreducible minimum of gear speed only useable, whereby it is made so as to be self-travelable up to a repairable spot or a retreating site. |
