Audio and visual excitation for stimulating hearing and seeing - using demodulator or decoder to control light source and reproduce recorded signals for synchronising brain waves
摘要
For audio stimulation sound pulses are recorded on a carrier and reproduced. To control light pulses for visual stimulation a light cont control signal is modulated on a carrier signal and recorded with the sound carrier. Upon reproduction the control signal regulates a light source with the aid fo a demodulator or decoder. The audio signal is supplied from a tape cassette player (3) to a freq. separator (4) consisting of an impedance circuit (25) and an attentuating resistor (26). At the output (A) the narrow band filtered freq. band of 10-14 KHz reaches the f.m. decoder (28) and amplifier (29). The output of the latter is fed to LEDs mounted on a pair of spectacles (16). ADVNATAGE - Prevents upper harmonies interferring with effectiveness. Is not limited to programming of appts. for freq., and form of audio pulses.
