<p>PURPOSE:To manufacture an artificial dental root of good organism compatibility and mechanical strength by taking the mold of the dental root by solidifying a specific resin on a dental root from which teeth are extracted, inserting a bone structure in the mold, and filling the mold with a paste composition for polymeric solidification. CONSTITUTION:An artificial dental root is manufactured by taking the mold of the dental root by solidifying a specific resin on a dental root from which teeth are extracted, filling the mold with a bone structure made of fiber strands and polymeric resin composition, and solidifying the polymeric resin composition by polymerization. The bone structure is made of fiber strands impregnated with thermoplastic resin or thermosetting resin. The polymeric resin contains as main ingredients polymeric monomer, ceramic of calcium phosphate family and polymeric catalyst. As the polymeric monomer, acrylic acid esters, urethane (metha)acrylic acid esters of mono- and poly-functional property are preferable. As the thermoplastic resin for fixing the shape of the strands, polymethacrylic acid methyl, polystyrene, and polyvinyl chloride or the like are preferable. As the thermosetting resin, those containing thermo-polymeric catalyst are preferable.</p> |
