End cap for power cylinder - is retained by screws in tapped holes which are partly in end and partly in cylinder wall
摘要
The power cylinder has a body with a recess (8) formed at one end to receive the end cover (5) which is a close fit in the recess. The cover (5) is held in place by three equally spaced screws (14). These screws fit in blind tapped holes which are positioned so that their centre lines coincide with outside diameter of the end cover (5). Thus one half of the tapped hole forms a semi-cylindrical recess in the end cover whilst the other half of the hole forms a semi-cylindrical recess in the cylinder bore. The screw (14) then engages screw thread in both cylinder body and end cap and holds the two parts together. USE - Power cylinders.
