PURPOSE:To industrially advantageously prevent fading and variation of flavor of Carthami Flos extract with time by adding extract of teas to the Carthami Flos extract. CONSTITUTION:Extract of teas (preferably extract of teas obtained by extraction of black tea, oolong tea and green tea with water, alcoholic organic solvent or ketone-based organic solvent, or dried material of tea leaf) is added to extract of Carthami Flos (preferably extract of Carthami Flos obtained by extraction of flower of Carthami Flos of Composite with water, alcoholic organic solvent or ketone-based organic solvent, etc., dried material of flower, safflower yellow as yellow coloring matter, carthamin as red coloring matter or other material containing flavonoid) to stabilize the extract. |
