PURPOSE:To faithfully reproduce the difference of musical tones due to difference of hit positions in natural tones by changing the delay time of a delay circuit in a closed loop in accordance with pitch information. CONSTITUTION:A delay step number storing means 13 outputs the number D of delay steps corresponding to a key code C to a step number ratio storage means 14, and since the ratio (n:m) of two numbers (n), (m) of delay steps corresponding to the key code KC is stored in the means 14, the ratio of the delay step numbers is found out in accordance with the key code KC, the number D of delay steps is divided based upon the ratio of the delay step numbers to find out respective number (n), (m) of delay steps and respective numbers (n), (m) are outputted to respective delay circuits 3, 7. When the delay step numbers (n), (m) of the delay circuits 3, 7 are changed in accordance with the key code KC, the difference of hit positions HP due to the difference to touched keys is simulated. Thus, tones generated by the musical tone synthesizer device are rewritten so as to be tone colors the most similar to a natural instrument. |
