PURPOSE:To enable ventilating and cleaning air containing an oily component by providing a filter at the front of an air inlet in a replaceable manner and behind said filter a fan connected to an electric motor by means of a flexible shaft or drive shaft. CONSTITUTION:There is provided a hood 8 having a shape to facilitate suction of fumes. A suction hole provided at one side of the hood 8 is fitted with a front filter 2, and adjacently to and behind this filter there is provided a suction fan 4 with its shaft connected to a motor 1 by means of a drive shaft 5. The motor 1 is provided with a guard in order to send sucked air, fumes, etc., smoothly behind the motor. There are provided furthermore a suitably curved guard 7 and a downstream filter 3 based on, for example, activated carbon made from coconut husks. |
