PURPOSE:To suppress a transmission shock by setting an operation pressure applied to a hydraulic clutch in the case of speed change to one side gear change step higher than a pressure responding to an engine load, and restoring the operation pressure during the speed change to the other gear change step, in the case of a skip-over speed change. CONSTITUTION:When a discriminating means C decides that a hydraulic clutch A furnished with a drift-on-ball B of a transmission mechanism 10 is in the condition to skip over, one side gear change step out of the gear change steps to which the hydraulic clutch is connected, from the released gear change step, to the other gear change step owing to the load reduction of the engine 1, the speed change control means D of an ECU 50 controls the speed change to the other side gear change step passing through the one side gear change step. In the speed change to the one side gear change step, an operation pressure control means E sets the operation pressure to the hydraulic clutch A higher than the pressure responding to the engine load, and restores the pressure to the pressure responding to the engine load during the speed change to the other side gear change step. In such a way, a transmission shock can be suppressed sufficiently. |
