PURPOSE:To prevent the exterior appearance of a house from being damaged by a drain hose drawing by using a draining device comprising a base plate, water-holding part, raised perimetric edge, and hollow downward projection with a V-groove cut circularly at the water-holding part. CONSTITUTION:In the case where a condenser does not have the function for complete evaporation or where, for example, the load in the controlled space does not permit complete evaporation, a draining device is set in place after opening a drain port 7 by hammering out or removing otherwise a plugging part 8 at a V-grooved part 6 in a hollow downward projection 5 at a water- holding part 3 in a base plate 2 and making a joint 9 ready for draining by connecting a hose 10 thereto. If such hollow downward projections 5 are formed at the water-holding part 3 in the base plate 2 one at the left and the other at the right (5A, 5B respectively) and each relatively far from the other and in the case of presence of an obstacle 11, for example, under the left projection 5A, use can be made of the right projection 5B. Likewise, where connection of the hose 10 to the left projection 5A is detrimental to the appearance of the house, the hose 10 can be connected to the right projection 5B. |
