PURPOSE:To improve contrast to other parts, to enable automatic pattern recognition and to improve mass-producibility by providing to an outermost layer a registration hole which is not charged with metal paste or metal powder. CONSTITUTION:A through-hole 11 is provided to green sheets 10-1 to 10-n. Green sheets 10-1 and 10-n, which are outermost surfaces, are provided with a registration hole 13 in addition to the hole 11 at four corners outside a required region. The hole 11 is charged with metal paste or metal powder 12. The hole 13 is closed with a tape 14 in advance. Then, the tape 14 is removed and green sheets 10-1 to 10-n are overlapped, pressed and burned. Metal paste or metal powder 12 sinters to become a through-conductor 15. Since the registration hole 13 of the multilayer ceramic substrate is not charged with filler, clear distinction from a periphery thereof can be made, thereby enabling automatic pattern recognition. |
