<p>PURPOSE:To improve heat resistance by incorporating org. dyes mixed with a dye which is improved in spectral transmittance when heated and a dye which is degraded in spectral transmittance when heated into the color filter. CONSTITUTION:The org. dyes mixed with the dye which is improved in the spectral transmittance when heated and the dye which is degraded in spectral transmittance when heated are incorporated into the color filter. Namely, the color film mixed with the two dyes having thermally opposite properties is formed. The fluctuation in the spectral transmittance is, therefore, lessened even when the film is heated or cooled by a fluctuation in temp. The film is easily dyed and formed when an org. resin, such as gelatin, is immersed into a liquid contg. the dyes. The filter having excellent heat resistance is easily obtd. in this way. Contribution is thus made to the improvement in the quality of a liquid crystal display and other color display devices.</p> |
