摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent a high oil pressure from being fed wastefully by means of a speed change ratio control valve and from being perfectly exhausted by setting the adjustment range of a speed change ratio in the actual speed change ratio variable range, considering the slip of the rotation of a belt. CONSTITUTION:At the point of the minimum speed change ratio and at the point of the maximum speed change ratio determined geometrically from the effective radius of a driving pulley 41 and a driver pulley 42, the actually detected speed change ratio is increased by the amount of the slip of a belt 43, and thereby the adjusted speed change ratio variable range is set by including the amount of the slip. As a result, a speed change ratio control valve does not carry out the operation to feed pressure oil wastefully or to exhaust the pressure oil perfectly, as in the conventional case. Consequently, it is not necessary to increase the rigidity and the durability of a driving pully more than requirements and the responsiveness of the transmission operation can be improved.
