PURPOSE:To reduce the print process at a remote location and to stabilize the picture quality by providing a picture input means, a print picture data base system comprising a picture data storage means, a communication means to transfer the picture data to a receiver side and a color printer or the like. CONSTITUTION:The system consists of a print picture data base system 1 at a sender side, a data processing means 2, a communication control system 3, a communication network 4, a communication control system 5 provided to a receiver side at a remote location, and a digital color printer 6. The print picture data base system 1 consists of a picture input means such as a color scanner receiving a picture of a print original and a picture data storage means storing the picture data outputted from the picture input means as a data base. Moreover, the communication control system 3 compresses and sends the picture data processed by the data processing means 2. |
