<p>A camera which can find light measurement value in consideration of both a main object and a field of view includes a detecting circuit for dividing the field of view into a plurality of small areas and detecting the luminance of each of the small areas, a focus detecting circuits capable of detecting focuses of a plurality of focus detecting areas in the field of view, a setting circuit for classifying the plurality of small areas into preset combinations in accordance with a selection of one of the focus detecting areas, and a calculation circuit for calculating a light measurement value by using the luminance of each of the small areas and changing degrees of weight on the small areas classified by the setting means. <IMAGE></p> |
