Process for the production of porous materials based on layered phosphates supported by metal oxide pillars, in which a stable colloidal suspension of a layered phosphate of a group IV metal, preferably Sn or Zr is prepared, the colloidal suspension is caused to react with a solution of the acetate of the metal desired for the pillars, preferably chromium acetate, the precursor solid so obtained is separated out and calcined in order to obtain a layered phosphate supported by metal oxide pillars with a high porosity and surface area. |
