The spray head has a mushroom-shaped rigid closure member (3) which automatically closes an outlet (6). The foam container has a manually operated discharge valve. The closure member has a delayed opening w.r.t. that of the discharge valve. A shank (13) of the closure member fits axially into the outlet and has a radial protrusion (14), gripping under a undercut part (15) in the outlet duct. At least one axial passage (19) passes through the radial parts.
