The foaming resin compsn. for a cable wire comprises 100 wt. pts of the base resin, 5-30% of the surface-treated foaming agent (basic to total wt. of the master batch), 0.01-2 wt. pts of the surface- freated nuclear material, 10-50 wt. pts of wax (basic to the carrier), 0.5-1.0 wt. pts of the antioxidant and 0.05-1.0 wt. pts of the antioxidant and 0.05-1.0 wt.pts of the metal antiactivation agent. Pref. the foaming agent is the modified azodicarbon amide of 4-10 micrometer particle size, is added at the time of preparation of master batch.
