<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the irregularity of transfer, to enhance the resistance of a foil after transfer and to reduce cost by printing thermal ink on an emboss part and performing embossing under heating and simultaneously performing the thermal color development on the side and upper surfaces of the protruding part of the emboss part. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic tape 3 is provided to a card substrate 1 by usual transfer and a thermal ink layer 2 is subsequently printed on an emboss line using thermal ink. Next, only a part to be projected by embossing is heated to perform embossing and the thermal ink on the upper parts and side surfaces of the numerals 1, 2, 3, 4 at the embossed part 4 is developed simultaneously with embossing.</p> |
