PURPOSE:To obtain a color copying machine where the color of an original surface is faithfully discriminated and a transfer paper corresponding to the discriminated color is selected by providing a surface color judging means, a transfer sheet color detecting means, and a control means instructing the selection of a paper feeding cassette from the outputs of the both means. CONSTITUTION:Original surface color data detected and judged by a CCD 4 and color judging parts 10 and 11 is fetched in a CPU 12. On the other hand, the color data of the transfer paper in the paper feeding cassette 17, which is detected by a color sensor 13, is fetched in the CPU 12 as well. The CPU 12 compares both data in accordance with a prescribed program, and instructs the selection of the paper feeding cassette 17 housing the transfer paper corresponding to the color of the original. The instruction makes for instance, the prescribed color display part 19 of an operating part 14 turning on and off. At this time, an user depresses a cassette selecting button corresponding to the display part 19, so that a desired paper feeding cassette is selected out of the paper feeding cassettes 17. |
