In a pocket-spring mattress with a plurality of connected, encapsulated helical springs (1), each helical spring is arranged in a sealed pocket (4) made of nonwoven, woven fabric, plastic (5) or the like. The sealed pockets are arranged in strip form one behind the other in one direction and interconnected by parallel tapes at right angles to this direction. To obtain strip-shaped fastening of the adjacent rows so that the adjacent pockets are connected to each other not only at separate points but in at least strip or ribbon-shaped regions, without using strip- or ribbon-shaped elements of plastic or foam material, the mutually parallel tapes of the adjacent rows (2) are interconnected by curable PUR foam material (6) which is applied in the form of a strip with or without breaks lengthwise along the rows of pockets. |
