PURPOSE:To monitor alarm information at the point of time of polling by storing the content of reply of a replying means with respect to a preceding polling, alarm information fed subsequent the preceding polling and alarm information of a monitored device at the point of time of polling. CONSTITUTION:A monitoring device 12 monitors the alarm information of a monitored device 11 such as a multilexer and an optical repeater, stores required information to discriminate the generation and restoration of the alarm information. When the alarm information is outputted from the monitored device 11, the accumulating alarm buffer 17 of a storage section 14 of the monitoring device 12 latches the information up to a succeeding polling and a preceding alarm information buffer 18 latches the information replied with the polling. Moreover, a current alarm information buffer 19 latches the alarm information outputted from the monitored device 11 as current alarm information while updating it sequentially. Thus, the occurrence state of the alarm at the point of times is replied with the polling from a central supervisory equipment 13. |
