PURPOSE:To obtain the power focus device which has excellent operability by forcibly stopping a lens from moving when focusing is detected halfway in manual focusing. CONSTITUTION:A PGC is a pulse generating circuit which outputs a pulse by the rotation of a focus link 1 associatively with the focus link 1. An LMCC is a lens driving control circuit which sends a driving signal for a lens driving circuit LMCC when the pulse generating circuit PGC generates the pulse and turns off the lens driving circuit LMCC when a focusing decision circuit FCC decides focusing. If the focusing is decided during the manual focusing, the lens is stopped forcibly to facilitate the lens stopping position at the focusing position and the lens begins to be driven when manual focusing operation is performed by a specific quantity after the lens is stopped. Consequently, the shift from the focusing position to another position by the manual focusing is carried out with extremely good operability. |
