PURPOSE:To enhance resistances to offset and windability, and fixability by incorporating a specified red pigment, a releasing agent, an oxynaphthoic acid type metal complex, and a polyester resin made from monomers comprising tri- or higher valent polycarboxylic acids and such polyols. CONSTITUTION:The red toner comprises the red pigment regulated to an oil absorption to specific surface area ration of <= 1.3 to reduce affinity of the pigment to the releasing agent, the releasing agent, and the oxynaphthoic acid type metal complex, and the polyester resin made from the monomers comprising tri- or higher valent polycarboxylic acids and such polyols selected so as to ensure its own melt viscoelasticity in the proper range, and further to modify the viscoelasticity in the preferable range by using said metal complex to give proper cross-linking, while restraining rise of its softening point, thus permitting resistances to offset and windability, and fixability of the red toner to be all enhanced. |
