<p>PURPOSE: To simplify a lamp installing structure of a reflection type lamp unit by arranging a means to position a filament of a tungsten halogen lamp on an almost optical focus of a reflector by cooperating with a blocking-up member. CONSTITUTION: A central opening part 24 is formed in a lower end part of a lower part 22 of a reflector, and this opening part 24 is blocked up by a heat resistant blocking-up means 26. This blocking-up means 26 has a physical dimension and a shape larger than the central opening part 24, and has a heat resistant blocking-up member 28 fixed to the central opening part by heat resistant cement 30, and physically supports a tungsten halogen lamp 14. The lamp extends through a pair of opening parts 48 and 50 where projecting conductors 42 and 44 are formed in the heat resistant blocking-up member 28, and is also supported by being fixed to these opening parts by the heat resistant cement 30. Conductor means 62 and 64 are also arranged to electrically connect projecting lower end parts of the conductors to an ordinary screwing-in type base 18. In this way, a wholly improved reflection type lamp unit can be easily assembled by using an existing automatic manufacturing device.</p> |
