<p>PURPOSE:To discriminate whether an object in a background is moving or the background itself is moving by providing a 2nd photodetector layer where sets of plural photodetectors sending a light from a lighting layer emitted corresponding to an output from a moving sensing means are arranged in 2-dimension. CONSTITUTION:The unit is provided with an image forming lens 41, a 1st photodetector layer 42, a 1st differential output generating layer 43, and a moving sensing layer 44, and a 2nd photodetector layer 45 is arranged opposite to light emitting elements 46 arranged in 2-dimension and photodetector array 50 is arranged to the 2nd photodetector layer 45 in 2-dimension. In this case, the light emitting elements 46 of the light emitting layer are lighted corresponding to the output of a moving sensing means 44 and the lighting is sensed by center photodetectors 47 and peripheral photodetectors 48 of the 2nd photodetector layer 45. Then a 2nd differential output generating element 80 receives an output from the center photodetector 47 and an output from the peripheral photodetector 48 to generate an output equal to a function of weight sum of reception inputs. Thus, whether an object is moving in a background or the background itself is moving is discriminated.</p> |
