<p>PURPOSE:To easily evaluate the presence of the abnormality of a tape pass system in high precision by writing the detecting information indicating whether a track address and a block address are rightly reproduced are not, and evaluating the propriety of a scanning locus based on the map information indicating the scanning state of a rotary head. CONSTITUTION:In an address map data storage device 36, to a map position designated with information ADRT and ADRB, the detecting information S12 indicating whether the track address (n) and the block address (m) are rightly reproduced or not is written by the rotary head. In such a manner, the map information indicating the scanning state of the rotary head is formed, and the propriety of the scanning locus based on this map information is evaluated. In such a manner, the scanning locus evaluating device which easily evaluatable the propriety of the reproducing state on the scanning locus for a recording track is realized.</p> |
