PURPOSE:To execute beautiful grinding and polishing on a processing material by providing a control means which controls a pressure converting device so as to selectively communicate a low pressure air source with an air cylinder caused on an excessive thickness detection by an excessive thickness detector. CONSTITUTION:A work W is detected by a work detector S1, when the work W travels on a material feeding passage. On the other hand, a projecting face X is detected by the excessive thickness detector S2 of an excessive thickness detection device, in the case of the projecting face X existing on the surface of the work X and a low pressure air generating a stepping force weaker than a reference stepping force on the air cylinder 22 linked to a pressing member 18 is fed from a low pressure air source P1, when the projecting face X reaches a stepping device. Because of a sanding belt being press-fitted with a weak force to the projecting face X, the oversanding is prevented and in a coating polish a proper polishing is executed while the removal of the coating face thereof is checked. |
