BAG FILTER IN EXHAUST GAS TREATING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To miniaturize an exhaust gas treating device and to enhance denitrification efficiency by carrying a catalyst for denitrification on the filter cloth or a cage and holding a denitrification function on a bag filter high in a dust collection function. CONSTITUTION:Filter cloth 3 is arranged in a longitudinal cylindrical shape to the inside of a bag filter A. A cage 4 made of steel is incorporated into the cylinder to hold the filter cloth 3 in a cylindrical shape. A TiO2 and V2O5- based catalyst for denitrification is immersed, fixed and carried on the inner face of the cylinder of filter cloth 3 or the surface of the cage 4. In such a way, a denitrification function is added to the filter cloth 3 or the cage 4 of the bag filter A. Therefore the need is eliminated for which a large-sized catalytic denitrification device is specially provided besides a dust collector like a conventional method. The space of the device can remarkably be reduced. Further denitrification is performed in the bag filter and therefore temp. drop at a time of denitrification can almost be neglected. Deterioration of the degree of denitrification based on the temp. drop can be prevented.
