NEW MATERIAL:A physiologically active substance TAN-883-B having the following physicochemical properties or a salt thereof. The shape: white powder; molecular formula: C20H40N2O6, etc. USE:An angiogenesis-promoting drug. Useful for recovering of wounds accompanied with large surgical operations such as burns, wounds, fractures and organic transplantations, for improving sewed opening disorders and recovery delayed diseases and for the diseases requiring the rapid hyperplasia of angiogenesis, such as ischemic heart diseases, e.g. cardiac infarct and cerebral hemorrhage accompanying arterial sclerosis, and digestive tract ulcer, etc. PREPARATION:A microorganism belonging to the Lysobacer genus, such as Lysobacer gummosus B62-21 strain (FERM BP-2568) is cultured preferably with aerial stirring at 17-28 deg.C at a pH of 5.5-7.0 for 24-144 hours. |
