ULTRATHIN POLYMER MEMBRANE AND MANUFACTURE THEREOF

摘要

PURPOSE:To form an ultrathin polymer membrane having a thickness of 10-1000Angstrom by developing a solution containing a crotonic ester polymer having a repeating unit represented by a specific general formula on the surface of the water and building up the formed solid membrane according to a vertical dipping method. CONSTITUTION:An org. solvent solution containing 0.1-20mg/ml of a polymer having a repeating unit of a crotonic ester represented by formula I (wherein R is a 3-12C branched alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, a 2-6C substituted alkyl group having a substituent of a 3-14C cyclic structure, a 3-10 substituted cycloalkyl group having the substituent of the aforementioned cyclic structure or a siloxane type hydrocarbon group) is prepared. This solution is developed on the surface of the water and pressurized under surface pressure of 3-30mN/m to be brought to a solid film state and this solid film is built up according to a vertical dipping method or a horizontal adhesion method to form an ultrathin polymer membrane having a thickness of 10-1000Angstrom .
