PURPOSE:To make the motion state of a spherical body controllable freely by composing it so as to interpose the spherical body with three driving rings and to drive the three driving rings with their rotation independently. CONSTITUTION:In the case of a rough processing, a 1st driving ring 17 and 2nd driving ring 18 are rotated rotated in the reverse directions and a 3rd driving ring 1 is rotated at low speed or placed in a stoppage state. When respective driving rings 17, 18, 1 are thus rotated reversely, a revolution force and spinning force are applied to a spherical body A to cause a revolution motion and rotation motion and the slippage in the contact zone of the spherical body A and a work face 16 becomes larger. Also, due to the movement of the 3rd driving ring 1 being at low speed, the escape of the abrasive grain of the work face 16 is reduced and the circumference of the spherical body A can be placed in the stabilized feeding state of the abrasive grain. On the other hand, the 1st and 2nd driving rings are rotated in the same direction and the 3rd ring and both driving rings are rotated in the opposite direction in the case of a finishing work. Consequently, a spinning force is not applied to the spherical body and the slippage in the contact zone with the work face becomes constant. |
