PURPOSE:To omit the labor for folding a recording medium after recording, by installing a control means for controlling a folding means so that the recording medium is folded into plural parts when the image information on a plurality of originals is recorded in arrangement on a same recording medium and forming the image information of a plurality of originals in arrangement on one surface or both surfaces of the same recording medium. CONSTITUTION:An original 21 is transported to the reading-out position of a reading-out means 3 by an original transporting means 20, and the image information on the transported original 21 is read out by the reading-out means 3, and recorded on a recording medium. When the image information of a plurality of originals is recorded in arrangement on a same recording medium, in the recording operation, a folding means 30 is controlled by a control means, and the discharged recording medium is folded into plural parts. Accordingly, a large-sized medium on which a plurality of image information is recorded is not discharged as it is, and discharged in the folded state into plural parts, and the labor for folding the recording medium after paper discharge can be omitted. |
