<p>PURPOSE:To decelerate drainage falling speed, perform ventilating action effectively and minimize pressure fluctuation in a pipe by providing the wall surface of a drain passage with a protruding part formed in the state of biting inward from the inner diameter of a pipe end connection. CONSTITUTION:Drainage falling down in a vertical drain pipe fitting falls in an expanded part 3 while keeping a ventilation zone mainly around the center in the pipe. A part of the drainage flows down directly into a vertical drain pipe below, and another part collides against the upper face of a protruding part 11 formed in a drain passage 9 provided between the expanded part 3 and a lower vertical pipe end connection and falls being decelerated by the resisting action. At this time, the drainage colliding against the protruding part 11 flows down being scattered in such a way as to close the cross section, at the protruding part 11, of the drain passage 9. However, as a diameter enlarged part 12 performs by-pass action at the same time, ventilation is communicated vertically through this part. The drainage falling speed is therefore decelerated by using this vertical drain pipe fitting inspite of its simple structure, as well as ventilating action can be performed effectively.</p> |
