<p>PURPOSE:To quicken orthogonal conversion processing by discriminating valid partial calculation with an arithmetic control means based on the component equivalent to one row or the component equivalent to one column of a matrix stored in a storage means and driving selectively the calculation means applying the valid partial calculation. CONSTITUTION:A partial calculation (invalid partial calculation) discriminating the result of calculation before the calculation is predicted depending on which component is zero among components equivalent to one row or one column of a matrix stored in a storage means 111. Then an arithmetic control means 131 drives selectively a relevant arithmetic means 121 by taking the partial calculation other than the invalid partial calculation as the valid partial calculation. Thus, the arithmetic control means 131 drives the arithmetic means 121 selectively implementing the valid partial calculation to omit the invalid partial calculation including in the orthogonal conversion processing thereby quickening the orthogonal conversion processing.</p> |
