Consisting of a microprocessor interface, a clock circuit, an asynchronous/synchronous converter, a transmitter/receiver of loop and contact establishment commands, a randomiser/de-randomiser, a coder-decoder, an echo canceller and a dither, all of which have fully digital operation, implementing a synchronous/ asynchronous converter which makes it possible to transmit data at a wide range of speeds lying between 1200 bit/sec and 64 kbit/sec. <IMAGE>
