A coating compsn. which gives the feel of doe skin contains (a) 1-20 wt.% of fibres of length 0.1-2 mm., (b) 1-70% of beads of size 1-500 microns and Mohs hardness below 7, (c) 5-80% of a solvent to disperse the fibres and beads and (d) 3-60% of a carrier to bond the fibres and beads to an article.
