PURPOSE:To shorten a painting-out processing time and to speed up outline font development processing by accessing plural memory units for the development of a character font as a continuous area and drawing an outline font, and also performing painting-out processing simultaneously. CONSTITUTION:An outline font drawing means 12 accesses the memory units 111 - 11n as the continuous area, and draws contour lines of the character font in the continuous area of the memory units 111 - 11n in order to draw the outline font. After the drawing of the outline font, plane painting-out means 131 - 13n performs plane painting-out processing on the corresponding memory units 111 - 11n simultaneously to paint out the inside of the outline font. Consequently, the painting-out processing time is shortened and the outline development processing is speeded up. |
