摘要 PURPOSE:To improve workability in connection in a high speed by making a thin rod made of a shape memory alloy store beforehand a form capable of connecting the upper surface of a semiconductor chip to a lead part and fixing one end thereof to the lead part and then heating it again to a predetermined high temperature. CONSTITUTION:An electrically conductive member is constructed of a thin rod 10, such as a line member, etc., consisting of a shape memory alloy, and this thin rod 10 is deformed, while it is held in a predetermined temperature range, so that one end of the thin rod 10 at a predetermined length pitch abuts a lead part 14 and the other end thereof abuts and presses a predetermined connecting part of a semiconductor chip 15, and this form is stored by it. Then, at a low or room temperature, after one end of the thin rod 10, deformed in nearly linear form and having a predetermined length, is fixed to the lead part 14, the mounting work of the semiconductor chip 15 is carried out, and then the thin rod 10 is heated to the predetermined high temperature range to fix it. Thus, when the work for connecting many thin rods to the upper surface of the semiconductor chip at a time is carried out, the speed of the work can be made higher.
