PURPOSE:To enhance the productivity by providing such a screw aligning device for a screw fastening apparatus that screws are fed from a supply pipe, one by one, onto a rotary table on which directions of the screws are discriminated, and they are conveyed along different conveying paths in accordance with their directions. CONSTITUTION:A supply mechanism 2 feeds fastening screws through a supply pipe, one by one, onto a rotary table 1. Thus fed screws are shifted to the position of a discriminating mechanism 3 by the rotary table 1 which is rotated in the direction A. Further, the charge directions of the screws are recognized. Then, the rotary table 1 is further rotated in the direction A so as to shift the screws to the position of a transfer mechanism 4. Simultaneously, a discriminating signal from the discriminating mechanism 3 is transmitted to air cylinders 53a, 53b in the transfer mechanism 4 so that the latter is changed over in accordance with a charge direction, and accordingly, the screws are conveyed in a direction F or G by way of a discharge hose 49a or 49b. |
