PURPOSE:To obtain a cold reserving material, excellent in lightweight, sanitary properties, optionality of shape, low price, easy disposability, etc., and used for simplified cold reserving transportation of fishes, shellfishes, meats, etc., and chilling bodies, etc., by impregnating a PE-based open-cell foam with a cold reserving agent. CONSTITUTION:The objective cold reserving material obtained by impregnating (A) a PE-based open-cell foam prepared by blending preferably (i) 100 pts.wt. ethylenic resin with (ii) 0.2-10 pts.wt. organic peroxide, (iii) 1-30 pts.wt. foaming agent and (iv) 0.01-5 pts.wt. compound such as an organopolysiloxane or silicone oil with (B) a cold reserving agent preferably composed of water. |
