Call-back control using cordless personal paging system - holds call-back request in memory for prompt compliance after initial paging attempt is not acknowledged

The communication system (KA) has a number of connection lines (LT1-LTn) through subscriber connection modules (SLM) to subscriber terminals (KE), or through special line modules (SSM) to the exchange (ZE) of a cordless personal telephone system (PSE) serving mobile terminals (ME) with acoustic alerting devices (AZ). The modules (SLM,SSM) are multiplexed to a central control (ST) where call-back requests are handled by conventional call-processing procedures. The caller's number is forwarded from the exchange (ZE) to the called terminal. ADVANTAGE - Callinmg terminal is recalled at earliest possible opportunity and its user need not know wheter called terminal is cordless.
