A stereoscopic projection system has a pair of LCD panels (64) that are set up with their optical axes parallel to each other. The images produced by the panels are projected onto a screen (5) by lenses in holders (26a, 26b). The lenses may be moved forward and backwards as well as in and out relative to the axes of the panel. The adjustment of the lenses allows any trapezoidal distortion effect on the displayed image to be eliminated. ADVANTAGE - Provides adjustment to avoid distortion of stereo image.
