A vane-cell pump (1) has a return line (6) which connects its pump outlet (3) to a working chamber (7) of the vane-cell pump (1). An electrically actuable stop valve (12) is inserted in this return line (6). When this stop valve (12) is opened, part of the compression region of the vane-cell pump (1) becomes ineffective, so that it is possible to generate only a reduced pressure which is sufficient for obtaining a locking position of a central-locking system. With the stop valve (11) closed, a pressure sufficient for obtaining a theft-prevention position can be built up.
