TDM signal path connection network with permutation selection - incorporates switching elements clocked at controlled rate corresp. to permutations among input and output signal positions

A full-duplex connection network has, e.g. seven input and seven output, lines arranged in an orthogonal pattern and electrically insulated at their crosspoints where input/output switches are situated, except at the crosspoints of identically numbered lines. The switches are operated over control lines (A-G) in pairs at 45 deg., clocked by a shift register (11) with seven outputs in cyclic order. A complete graph including all edges is traced at a rapid clock rate.
